Who got rain?

I saw in random thoughts that folks were boasting about getting rain. I got about ten drops and that ain't quite close to enough!

 

I am working in Raleigh and we got a pretty good shower of rain, not nearly enough but its rain.

 

Nothing in Apex.

 

Near W. Johnston High ... no rain here.

 

Clayton (near Hwy 70 East) got a little bit. The sun is beaming now.

it must of went north of you guys, I'm right off Poole Rd and it poured here for a few minutes.

I'm sorry, I have to offer my apologies to everybody in the McGee's Crossroads area. I started out the door this morning with a load of laundry to hang on the line, but it looked so much like rain, I decided to put it in the dryer instead. You know, if I had hung it out, we would have got a good rainstorm. So, you see, it's all my fault. I'm sorry.

I know someone that did a "raindance" before Hurricanes Fran and Floyd. He has offered to do so again.:lol: I asked him to wait just a wee bit. We need the rain so badly but I'd hate to deal with all that again. It's funny how my mom's generation compares everything to Hurricane Hazel. For me, the guage will always be Fran.

 

Guess i need to go online and research Hazel but for me it is Fran too - be very wary if the hurricanes get to K this year:lol:
