Who was it that was looking for sunscreen reccomendations a few weeks ago? http://www.ewg.org/2010sunscreen/
I can speak up for Blue Lizard sunscreen. We used it on our son at the water park and I used a spray-on Equate (Wal-Mart) brand. We were out from 11 to 3 pm and he got a little pink on his shoulder after just one application and being in the water. I got nearly blistered. The cool thing about Blue Lizard is that it has a UV sensitive bottle that turns blue in UV light.
this site rates blue lizard #4, which is still pretty good. ... I saw a thing on a morning news show about sunscreen and they said one should be a sunscreen snob when it comes to protecting the skin. The chemical they said it should contain is helioplex and wiki says and avobenzone is an ingredient in the products in the #1 and #2 spots of the above mentioned site. But don't take my word for it. I am white as a ghost and vitamin D deficient.
Can't give any advice on sunscreen, but this thread made me think of this...... Everyone's Free To Wear Sunscreen. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xfq_A8nXMsQ
