I didn't see or hear anything, but was asleep at that time. But I did have a dream about being in a ton of snow! Wonder if I really did hear it and that's what I thought it was in my sleep.

This is what it looked like at our house. We live off of 42 near 40.

I live off Corbett Road. I think that had to have been one of the worse storms I've been in. It was crazy. The dog would not settle down. The thunder had an odd sound to it. It was raining so hard the water was was pouring off the roof - looked like a fast moving stream. The wind whipped leaves off the trees - side of our house is plastered with them. My hosta are shredded. my rose blossoms are now scattered on the ground. We had a pile of hail on a bench on our deck. At one point I opened the door and could see my breath - temperature dropped real quick; we could also see the heat rising off the mulch in our flower bed. Either a pine tree or its branches came down -- when I opened the door, it smelled of pine. It happened sometime between midnight and 2. I remember seeing the blurp on the bottom of the tv saying there was a severe thunderstorm in effect - but the time it showed had already passed. I'll spend today cleaning all the leaves off the house and vehicles.

We too had the smell of pine that's all our back yard is. You could just see the steam coming off of everything.

That is how it was here too. I live off of 42 near Amelia Church Rd. That lightening was something else too wasn't it? It sounded like hail hitting our windows, but I was too sleepy to get up and look. I did check out the flower beds this morning and all looks well.
