We are watching them. Have a great love for music. We switched to CNN on a commercial and saw the real life person of Ken's Avatar. I was laughing and telling my family about it. Right now on the Grammy's is a tribute to the Beatles! Grace
The most self glorified and congratulatory industry around...the entertainment industry. I quit watching award shows years ago. This is just like the college football bowl season. Sure i love saturdays in the fall because once soccer games are over, all i do is watch college football for the rest of the day and night but there are about 25 too many bowl games. Takes the umph out of the games. Just like the award shows. Make it 1 show for movies, 1 for tv, one for music (period) and so on...then they would mean more and be worth watching.
So for those who watched, what did you think of Kanye West's first acceptance speech? I thought he was being pretty pompous - yes, his mother died and I can understand him wanting to acknowlege her influence, but all the winners get a certain amount of time to speak....if he wanted to say all that about his mother, he should have started with that first and not acted so disrespectful to the music guys. They were just doing their job!
I thought West was rude. I agree that he should have spoken about his mother to begin with. At some point these people need to understand to follow the rules. Grace
My girls and I like to watch the Grammy's to catch all the performances. I don't really care who wins, heck I don't even know half the bands and singers these days anyway!
Probably the most boring Grammy's i have seen in a while. With all that piano/flutes stuff going on in that last hour, i thought i was going to past out.
