Last couple of times I've been Walmart thaty have had them on an end display unit in the electronics area right next to the cash register. They have had limited numbers of each module, and at $99 for each module I can see why. Craig
I saw them at Best Buy last weekend and Game Stop in Fuquay Varina had them this past Monday afternoon when I was in there....
it looks pretty awesome....check it out' http://www.nintendo.com/wiifit/laun...rch?rls=ig&hl=en&q=wii+Fit&btnG=Google+Search
It's a blast. Does all kinds of neat things with the balance board..like show your center of gravity for balance, stretching, some exercises ..and some really disturbing things...like an accurate weight measurement and body mass index.. We use ours to supplement the treadmill, etc. Got ours online....
Woohoo, finally got my Wii Fit hooked up and running last nite. It was a blast, loved the hulahooping and the yoga, the running wore my butt out and step dancing with those little mii people was hilarious, haven't tried to downhill skiing and all yet though. Love that the better you get the more new skills it opens up for ya:hurray: Found out truly bad shape i am in though, 30 minutes wore me out:evil: but it was my first time and i really think i am gonna love working out with it. It was hilarious after it weighs you, measures body fat, etc., your little avatar suddenly gains weight, gotta get that gal slimmer:lol: Those of you that have had your's awhile, do you still use it and have as much fun, are you still getting more challenges or has it gotten old for ya?
I personally haven't used mine since I set it up. but the wife has. and it has wore her out as well, but she has seen a change. Craig
Did you unlock the super hula-hooping... thats fun.. i think its 90 seconds each direction. I like when you check-in for the day, it gives you different balance exercises to do. That "tree" in the yoga area is freakin' hard!
i unlocked it but didn't try it yet, i was just trying to check out as many as i could the first time around, didn't do the tree yet either but can't wait. Have you seen yourself going down in weight, Wiiage or BMI yet, in other words, is it really working, i sure as crap hope so since i finally found an exercise thing i enjoy:lol:
Do you have to buy the regular Wii (with the bowling/baseball/tennis) and then buy the Wii Fit for it? I'm a little confused about this. I have checked the site out and it looks great, but I am not sure what the set up is.
Yes, well sort of. The Wii Fit balance board is, basically, an accessory controller. Technically speaking you could just buy the Wii Fit game disk, and you can play it using a standard Wiimote, but that is not how it was intended to be played nor will iot give you the proper satisfaction.
I got my WiiFit through ebay after looking in several stores and trying to get one by being there at the time the truck comes in and all that stuff. Love it - the advanced step is my favorite. I have seen a slight weight loss over the last 3 weeks but am hoping for more soon:lol: Hope this helps. Karen
And the wii fit board can be used with other games as well. Such as Shaun White's snowboarding. Craig
i got lucky, was in line at Game Stop w/dgs and the lady behind me was talking about they had just gotten the Wii Fit in over at Target at White Oak and she had just picked one up for $79, i went straight there with my $50 Target gift card from Christmas and another Visa giftcard and woohoo, got my Christmas present from one of my sons:hurray:
