Anyone have any experience with Willowrun vets? Good and bad opinions welcome.

It has been several years since I used them, but I loved them back then. I had horses and they would come here for farm visits and I also was a puppy raiser for Guiding Eyes for the Blind and they sponsored our guide dogs (free vet care!!!) so that impressed me.

Well, at first they were nice. Then they moved to their very fancy building and prices SKYROCKETED (almost triple in cost to get annual shots). The last straw was when my dying Rottie was muzzled immediately. He had not snapped, growled, or barked. He was lying IN MY LAP on the floor and the vet refused to enter the room unless he was muzzled. He examined his lymph nodes by feel, said there's nothing we can do for him, and charged us well over $100 for the 5 minutes. I asked about meds to make him more comfortable and was told there really wasn't any point, but he finally gave me some "horse pills" to cram down his throat every day, twice a day! (His lymph nodes were the size of tennis balls...he needed a liquid form since he could barely swallow.) That was the last time I took any pet I had to them. Maybe that jerk is gone, I don't know, and I don't remember his name.
