Is there a special tax rate for items purchased from a wireless store? I just bought an accessory--not a phone or minutes-from the verizon place by walmart. It was $5.00 but my receipt says $.95 state tax and $.40 county tax. I did not realize it when I was in the store and it is not worth the gas to go back, but I was wondering if i was hoodwinked or if there is a tax for woreless accessories.
Most woreless accessories are taxed, the other type accessories are usually kept off the books. :mrgreen:
