Some one put super glue in all of the outside locks to the school on Thursday night...This morning, teachers were bewildered of why they couldnt unlock the doors...homecoming prank I guess. There is about 15,000 dollars worth of damage and a $1000 reward to the conviction of the vandals....I thought this was rather interesting.

That's sad. What is the point? Hope they got a good laugh. :? I know, when they find out who did it, let the school do that to their houses and vehicles. 8) I thought homecoming was monday?

$15,000.00 for locks???? Where do I get a chance to bid on that project??? I've got some $500 toilet seats and $300 hammers if they need those too.

There's a solvent that desolves super glue. For less than $100 a maintenance man can go around and clear the locks.

They called in a locksmith, if the solvent doesn't work, 15,000 to replace all the cylinders. I heard they have them on serveilance (sp?) cameras so hopefully they can catch them.

Homecoming was all last week, game was rescheduled to Mon because of rain Fri night.

 Seriously, who vandalizes with smiley faces!!

Prank At West Johnston High School Causes $16,000 In Damage - A prank at West Johnston High School caused $16,000 in damages at the campus. Officials said two students placed super glue in 63 exterior door locks preventing keys from working. A security camera caught the images of two suspects. After the principal offered a $1,000 reward for information, two students reportedly came forward and confessed. Cameron Scott OConnell (left) and Brandon Keith Asay (right), both age 17, are charged with damaging school property. Both students are scheduled to appear in court on January 2 to answer to the criminal charges. Officials are expected to ask for restitution to pay for replacing the door locks.
