If anyone wants to spend their time and money on something other than changing the way animals are put to death in JC, here is a very good website. This group goes into "puppymills" and rescues the poor animals who are being bred over and over and over again, solely for the profit of the owner. I'm linking you to a page that shows one rescued dog named Maggie. Be sure to go to the home page where you can click on dogs that have been rescued, fostered, and are now up for adoption. If I didn't have 11 pets already, (plus small children), I would adopt one of these babies in a minute. But since I can't, I'll help spread the word... http://www.puppymillrescue.com/maggie.htm Even if you can't adopt but you want to help them out, you can sponsor a dog to help cover vet bills, etc.
