Is it reasonable to think that this 3rd son has been indoctrinated just as his brothers were?? Would you be comfortable with your kid hanging out with this 3rd son?
I would not want my kids hanging out with him. Unless he was totally separate from his family...and even then I don't know. I don't know how old your kid is but if he is under 18, and you have control..i would not allow it. JMO.
Right out of the gate, why did you start two threads on the same topic? This sounds like an issue you are dealing with personally. As to the question, my family has adopted a lot of orphans -...human or not- over the years and very few have been unredeemable. One of the great strengths of our species (and nationality) has been our ability to rise above the sins of our parents, e.g. I may be Hitler's son, but perhaps I can move past that and contribute to humanity at large. Granted, there have been many instances where the son follows the father, but also many where the son refutes the father's beliefs. Your circumspection in this situation is wise, but I would try to judge the individual in question as just that -an individual. Peace!
