Is anyone else having problems with the sound going out intermittenly on during shows/programs, yesterday and this morning? Trying to figure out if its my tv or the channel?
I didn't have any problems yesterday and the tv hasn't been turned on yet today. Try changing the channel and see what happens..
I had that same problem yesterday afternoon on WRAL. Not sure about today as I haven't turned on the TV.
it is my understanding it is caused by the buildup of interferon nuclear particles imminating from the wral doppler radar adjacent to their tower here on US 70. I typically by some aluminum foil at the dollar tree and fashion it into a small triangular cap. I find wearing it and sitting between the tower and my television eliminates any unnerving interruptions.:allears
Mine did it yesterday and today too. It seemed like the sound was a problem off and on yesterday through out the day. Today not so much. I figured it was just my tv. The green is out, so I figured the sound would go next.
Doppler **POP** well, i did notice tonight on the wral news that when the weather came on and they showed that doppler radar on the tv the old tin hat just didn't work anymore - tv got fuzzy and the sound dropped out. I reckon they "up" the power on the doppler when they go "live" just to impress everyone with their distance. I also reckon that means the radar dome is pumpin' out some serious something every night at 5:20 and 6:20 for a few minutes. Next monda i'm headin' out there with some hotdogs on a real long extension pole, get those suckers up there close to the radar dome, see if they brown... nothin' better than roasted red dogs with some slaw.... yuummmm.... btw, i am new to the board. located off barbour mill, not to far from the bigfoot sign (if you don't know what i mean then take a drive out that way
