Anyone know what really happend with the 18 wheeler that turned over and how it happend..? Was anyone stuck in that traffic? I was, had a long meeting after work yesterday, the meeting got out at 9:15 and I got home at 11:30pm last night..I was in it for that long time trying to get home. They had signs after exit 312 saying the right hand lane was shut down, but it was a few miles before you saw signs that said there was a accident. I think if it was shut down for that long and the delays where that long they should have had a something up before exit 312 so people could at least go down 50 or something. I heard a few where in the traffic for 2 to 3 hours..wow.

That's the second overturned tanker in just a few days. One on Friday spilled nearly 7,000 gallons of fuel south of Fayetteville.

I heard about that one, but never heard a thing about this one and what is sad is that I had my radio on and never heard nothing about it the whole time..I hate to think I miss it some where. I hope no one else was hurt or the guy in the truck.

I don't think either truck driver was seriously injured from what I've read.

We got stuck on 95 for a long time in that mess in Fayetteville on Friday, passed by the one yesterday apparently right after it happened , no emergency vehicles were on the scene yet, we couldn't tell what happened.

The hubby and I were coming back from out of town apparently shortly after this happened. It looked like the rig was going westbound judging from the tracks in the median. All of the rescue people were just getting there around 4 pm and it looked as though they had just pulled the driver from the truck.

Tractor Trailer Accident Causes Delays On I-40 - Traffic on I-40 in Johnston County was backed up for several miles late Sunday after a tractor trailer ran off the interstate. The semi was traveling westbound near the 317 mile marker, just west of Highway 210, when the driver apparently lost control. The rig took out a section of the guardrail in the median before crossing into the eastbound lanes and going down an embankment. The driver and a passenger were taken to WakeMed with non-life threatening injuries. Traffic had to be rerouted off the interstate causing lengthy delays for drivers.

Now I didn't know this, man good thing no one else was hurt either..and if it happend right around 4pm. Traffic was still backed up at 11pm that night right before you get to exit 312. So your looking at like almost 8 miles a very very slow moving cars.

Thanks Kaci! I was wondering what to put up and decided to go with it! :-D

BTW sucks for anyone who got stuck in that traffic Sunday night! A couple of my friends forgot about the accident (we had warned them earlier in the evening) were stuck there until about 9:30
