We did learn the hard way about dark chocolate, though, when our min pin ate about 12 dark chocolate hershey's kisses. $700 later, he escaped death and we managed to save his kidneys because we took him to the vets in a timely manner. The vet said if it was only milk chocolate it would not have caused such deadly reaction. We also learned that Monty can find a way to climb up onto the shelf where the candy dish was...:ack:
