I thought this was worth passing on, as I never really thought about consequences of one of my pets getting hold of any of my sugarless candy. We did learn the hard way about dark chocolate, though, when our min pin ate about 12 dark chocolate hershey's kisses. $700 later, he escaped death and we managed to save his kidneys because we took him to the vets in a timely manner. The vet said if it was only milk chocolate it would not have caused such deadly reaction. We also learned that Monty can find a way to climb up onto the shelf where the candy dish was...:ack:
