I up dated to explorer 7.0 and now on the lower address-start bar there's a wed site showing up(http://myspace ,like a search engine)and I really don't have any use for it,so how do I delete it,my kid said it was a web site thats on RR and that I couldn't remove it,whats your thoughts on it, is it going to be a problem
Sorry, can't help you with that question. I hope you have by now figured out what to do. But I just wanted to say that I personally do not like IE 7.0, when I would go to print something it would not work and then it was always freezing up on me so I got tired of it and went back to IE 6.0 and no problems. Just my input for the day. 8) Hope IE 7.0 is working better for you, it must have not liked me.
was your computer freezing only when you were prining something? Mine has started freezing for no reason.
It sure as he11 doesn't like me either,, all I get is "page can not be displayed" ,,,where did you go to download 6.0 I want to get this 7.0 crap off here Somebody give me a little help please
I uninstalled 7 and it went back to 6 and have not had anymore problems with mine freezing. It did ask me again to update and I declined. It has been a week now
Have heard of serveral problems that have followed the upgrade to IE 7. If you are running Windows XP, try using a Restore Point to backup your PC to a time prior to IE7 and see if things don't settle down for you.
It wasn't only the printer part freezing up on me the whole dang thing froze up and I kept getting the error "page can not be displayed" a lot also. All i know is I'll never upgrade to IE7 again. When I use IE6 it does fine. I switch between Firefox and IE6. But IE6 never gave me any problems.
I did the exact same thing to get rid of IE7. Once you uninstall it your computer automatically goes back to IE6. Good luck Raven!

Go to Add/Remove Programs under your computers Control Panel. Choose Windows Internet Explorer 7 to remove. Follow any instructions given, should be relatively easy.
Thanks to all,I did what you advised and so far(knocking on wood) it appears to be working :-D Thanks All
I've been running ie 7 for alittle over a month here at home with no issues, and running it at work for several months (beta) with no issues there either. Like the tabbed browsing that Firefox uses, but IE 7 isn't the memory hog (atleast it doesn't appear to be) that Firefox is. Craig
Personally I don't like IE7. It's too linked to the advertising gabage we all hate and navigation is too complex. Watch out, Microsfts largest customers need a browser that gets people in. So who do you think they developed that version for??????
In 2 installs (work and home) I don't have any of the advertising garbage that it is linked to as you state. As for being too complex to navigate. It is as simple as any other browser I have ever used. Just type in the address and go, not that hard to do. Craig
