I got gas for 1.99/gallon today!

I saw that. We are looking at a house on Ennis Rd.

 

Got gas for 1.97 at BJ's today...1/22/07 woo-hoo!!

 

Just passed Wally World in Clayton tonight, it was $1.99!

 

How crazy are we? Excited about $1.99 a gallon??

I need to be in charge of the universe! Where's my cape?! :lol:

 

Sad, ain't it, but I never thought I'd see it under $2.00 a gallon in my lifetime!:mrgreen:

 

I remember seeing it for 89 cents in SC about 10 years ago! :shock: Boy oh boy would I love to see that again!!!

 

So when is Don Lee's gonna catch on - there were still at $2.15 this am.

 

I didn't even pay attention to Wells to see what theirs was yesterday. They ALL should be coming down, drastically!!!

 

If ya go by there anytime today, check it for me if ya don't mind - i need to fill up.

I was worknig in Charlotte and doing a job in SC. I bought gas at the station on the SC of the road at Carowinds for .67/GAL. This was in 97 or 98. Probably the cheapest I ever got gas in my driving lifetime.

 

I remember $0.32 a gallon :neutral:

 

I remember asking my Mom would there still be gas when I was old enough to drive...

 

My Mom is at Myrtle Beach right now and she said gas is around $1.89/gallon down there. Wonder why MB always seems to have gas so much cheaper than around here? :?

 

The Dang NC Highway TAX makes our gas soooooooooo much higher than SC.

 

In traveling back and forth to Florida, I find it's usually even cheaper in GA if you can hold out until you cross the state line.
