Maybe I got the special paper from the third dimension (since nobody else has mentioned it yet, that I can see), but Lowe's is having triples today, Monday, and Tuesday.

If anybody wants my coupons from today's paper (I only clipped 3) send me a pm. You can either pick them up from my house (off Lassiter Rd.) or I work in Garner.

They are so irritating! Why can't they advertise a few days in advance? I just purchased a big order on Thursday night! (used my $1 coupons though)

Wasn't it a great surprise to wake up to a triple coupon promotion at Lowe's Foods today?! Fortunately, my coupons were pretty well organized so I was ready to go. Apparently the store did not have much notice which explains why we did not get the usual heads up so we could all get prepared.

Here are my totals for todays shopping:

Total retail amount of products before sales and coupons: $291.55
Amount saved with sales and coupons: $280.77

    Amount paid: $ 10.78

    Savings: 96%

We are set on all sorts of good stuff like Boca veggie products, Steamfresh veggies, Yoplait Gogurts, Pounce cat treats, Pillsbury pancakes, Borden Cheese, Dole fruit cups, Suave kids body wash, toothpaste, rice, Tic Tacs, Treasures chocolate bars (an essential for me - LOL), Tyson chicken, Fruity cheerios, Welch's jam, Vo5 shampoo and conditioner, Rotel tomatoes, and more. All we need to buy for a while is fresh produce and meat (and we don't eat alot of meat so that is a small expense).

    I LOVE TRIPLES! :)

Well there you go Jenn, you can start your own "grocery shopping for others" business... and HG will be the first one to hire you, I'm sure!

Great Job Jenn!!! It feels so good doesn't it??

One of my trips I saved $66 and spent $2.50. It was 97% (ish) but the other trips were in the 80%'s.... it is hard for me not to buy just the really good deals (that we wont eat) and stick to the great deals we will eat that are a little more expensive. I did however stock up on Hamburger Helper to donated to Basic needs.

(PS- When I dropped off food on Saturday they said they really need canned fruits and veggies.)

    Spent $23
    Saved $45

That's not bad for me!

I was in Knightdale so I went to that one. They seem to have more to choose from than the Clayton store. But it may be that they stocked up from yesterday?

I am just in awe of the saving Jen and Frugal. I have my little notebook, and everything separated, so we'll see if I can save that much money. I haven't had a triples come up since I organized my coupons. How in the world do you save $280 on one trip to the grocery store?

After 9 trips I spent $90 and saved $380!!! Not as good as some of the others but I am happy! $470 worth of groceries for $90, and that included some meat, milk, eggs etc...

The ad said that you still had to spend $35- is that not really the case? I had my first triple coupon experience- and I have to tell you- it wore me out!! Math makes me tired. Plus, the cashier boy only DOUBLED my coupons instead of tripling them, which I didn't notice until too late- so I had to wait at the customer service while they took them all off again. I have a very deep admiration of you seasoned couponers- I was almost ready to cry when I left the store. Well, it was 9 pm after a long workday too- maybe not the best time for me to go- but at least I tried!

You have to have $35 in merchandise BEFORE sales and coupons, it's not hard to do, trust me! Then they take off your Lowe's Card and any coupons you have.

I just did two shops, the first one I spent $15.38 and saved $45.17 second trip I spent $24.44 and saved $51.38, but that included getting my milk for free with 4200 greenpoints. I rarely do quite as well as Frugal, but our shopping lists are a little different................that has a lot to do with it. I average at least 50% savings everytime I go though most times it's between 60 & 70% even when they are just doubling, you really have to watch the sales and combine your coupons with those to get those really major savings. I enjoy the triples so much, it's just fun to me, like hitting the slot machine in Vegas!

Since I only had 20 coupons that weren't expired, I didn't even bother. I have had the flu for what seems like forever and have been out of the loop of everything! Kudos to all of you bargain shoppers!!
