I have a stash of those $25 Eckerd Script transfer coupons left. They expire on 04/03, so if you need one let me know!

I had the clerk at CVS at McGees Crossroads tell me they don't accept those, because Eckerd is not a direct competitor. She had to ask the manager about this first, and you could tell she was embarrassed to say it, because she probably knew how stupid it sounded. Apparently that CVS thinks they have no competition.

Well, if that had been me, I would have called their corporate office right then and there from my cell phone, or I would have told them to put my script back in the computer and would have had it filled at the CVS at 4042.

BTW-Target is keeping a notebook of who uses what coupons. They take a photo copy of the coupon, then they check your name against the log book to see if you've already used it once or not.

I had a feeling a retailer was going to be doing something like this and soon enough all the pharmacies probably will. I was recently told by an area pharmacy "we want loyal customers, not couponers"...

    Julie,

Wow.....I can't believe a retailer would say that. The couponers should be just as important as the "loyal customers". Business is business right?

Mmm, I'm glad you didn't say who that pharmacy was, because they'd lose my business for sure!
