For you ladies who are a little fluffy around the middle... The LB in Garner has got a HUGE clearance rack in the front of the store, with "take and ADDITIONAL 40% off" clearance stuff. I got the cutest pair of knee-knockers yesterday for $11 (they had been $45). Plus, they have a TON of bras marked down to $12.99. The girl told me they got like 4 shipments in of new stuff and they have to get rid of the clearance merchandise.
Okey-dokey! Thanks for the head's up, Jen. Looks like I need to make a trip out there. Marked down bras...that's a rare find! Frogger
Thanks JenniferS! No money coming in right now, but disparate for bras. So took a trip to the LB in Garner. Didn't like the $12.99 bras they had in my size, but they had a large selection of buy-2-get-2-free bras. I ended up with 4 bras for $48 - $12 each. Also got a white shirt from the sale rack, that I can wear for casual or with a suit (interviews!) 40% off the last markdown price - for $14.99. Could really use a pair of shorts or crops - but their pants don't fit me. If I get them big enough in the hips, they are much too big in the waist. (Don't they know, women have curves!) Anyway, trip was successful. Total spent with tax, $67.25. Saved $58!
I went last night after work and didn't even find anything I liked on the clearance racks. I did find a nice dressy type top on the left wall... the sales associate and a I were talking about the jeans, because I was glad to see they had gotten the Lowrise Stretch Bootcuts back in stock, but I said I wished they would carry them in a variety of denim shades. She said it didn't matter much because they were coming out with a whole new line of jeans at the end of the summer. They are going to be more custom fitted for women and sized 1,2,3,4,& 5. But there is going to be a style specifically for women with the bigger hips, smaller waist, curvier all over, butts & no butts.. it'll be interesting to see. I personally love the ones they carry now in the Lowrise strech bootcut, and the regular stretch bootcut... I guess I better stock up while I can.
i hate to ruin everyone's experience in lb garner. last christmas they treated me so poorly and i will do my best to not shop at that location. during christmas 06/07 i was working on capital blvd. i had originally purchased a pair of pants in black, brown and grey after i worn and washed them once they literally started slipping down and the didn't have belt loops i went into the briarcreek location and asked one of the managers if anyone had they same trouble she intern advised even though they where worn and washed they would switch them out no problem. i double and triple asked if it was ok. i wouldn't want to be embarresed. the first mistake i made was bringing them to garner because i bought them their the associate just looked at them and was talking me in a way that no one would appreciate, the manager wouldn't speak to me after i explained the conversation i had in briarcreek she told me that i should just go there she was crude, rude and really just shouldn't work with the public. the way she acted and spoke was very very low class but i will never forget that experience in my life i have never been so humiliated and hope that no one else ever has that type of experience
