I was replying to a thread on here, in the Neighborhood, and we got a big flash of lightning and the computer turned off. Well, I pulled the plug and went out on the porch to watch the storm 'til it passed, and then came back in. Plugged my computer back in, clicked on my little Firefox icon, and got a dialog box that said something about the last session shut down unexpectedly, did I want to restart or start a new session. So I picked restart, and all the windows I had open before came back up, and the reply I had started to write was still there! Is that amazing, or what? Never happened with IE! Did I mention, I <3 Firefox!
opensource rocks.......It's about quality. How much money was firefox? How do you like the auto spell check?
Oh, yeah, the auto spell check saves me a lot of editing! I hate when I post something and then see a stupid mistake! Of course it still happens when I type on for one, or thing for think, but it prevents a lot of errors. Yup, I <3 Firefox.
Firefox is a FREE install. Like KDs, I love the 'restore session' option too, I'm giving it a workout lately as my pc is on it's last legs and shopping for a new tower, with the suggestions this board has given me.
Love Firefox too - haven't used IE since i installed Firefox free thanks to my DS's recommendation:-D
Sometimes it works too well. Asking me to restore even though I closed it normally. And it usually does this 4 or 5 times in a row. /Ken won't be happy until we're all programming our own software //Got into VBA yesterday for speeding up Word.
