Not sure if anyone would be interested or not. Our plan was to put it with the trash, but we're not even sure if Waste Industries will take it.

It's an old monitor, bought in 1995, NEC 15 inch (I think) color monitor. Last I knew it still worked, but it's life was questionable when we disconnected. A pin in the connector had bent causing one or more of the colors to act funny and/disappear. It looks as though one of the pins is missing, not sure if every hole is supposed to have a pin or not.

So, I have no idea if it works now or not. It may belong in the trash-- but thought I'd check to see if anyone was interested or knew how to dispose of it.

put it on freecycle.org (it's a yahoo group). There are always people taking monitors on freecycle.

Thanks B2A- I'm new to freecycle. When I search for a local group, the only North Carolina link I get is for Carolina Beach. Am I doing something wrong?

No. It appears that the Johnston County Freecycle has separated from the Yahoo Groups (don't know why). I am still getting posts at home, so this evening I'll check what their website is and post it.

    Got it.

It's not that they separated from Yahoo, they changed their name (to make it shorter, probably) from:

    "JohnstonCountyFreecycle"

    to:

    "JCRF"
