WANTED: a forum/bulletin board site for my church

I've gotten so used to, and like so much, the way 4042 operates with the ease of posting text, pics, different topics, etc, I'd love to find one like this.

I came across BulletinBoards.com, http://www.bulletinboards.com/index.cfm, which charges 9.95/month. That sounds reasonable since they don't allow any advertising.

    Any recommendations or advice?

If anyone knows, you folks here do.

    Thanks in advance.

Our church uses Yahoo for our Prayer group. It's private and you have to signup to be a member. It is mostly used for prayers and praises, somtimes people will share other stuff, similar to your thread on here.

    Thanks to both of you.

bandmom: I'll check out what Yahoo offers.

I'm approaching this on two fronts, with one of them polling the members of my ENews group to see if this is something they want.

Ken, as soon as I get some more feedback I'll drop you a line with some questions. Appreciate it.

dawn: that would be great; always open for suggestions

I started an ENews type newsletter that is doing well, but any responses come back to me and I send them out, etc.

A message board type set up like 4042 would be much more useful, I think.
