From the article they broke down yearly allowances, not monthly. Still, I'm not a fan of Parker's. I've dealt with him a couple of times and just don't care for him. I really like the asst. super and two of the board members, they've really helped me out with school transfer issues.
Yep, me too. They are the only two on the board that I care for. They will return your calls, emails, etc. and help you if they can.
Frustrated I work in the school system and I do not support this! Most people who work in the system believe it is time for a change at the top. I tried to get others to care and do something about it, but unfortunately everyone in the system is afraid to speak out for fear of losing their job. There is no reason the Super needs that big of a pay raise. By the way- all of you (including myself) who voted for Butler Hall thinking he would be different and vote with the only two members who make sense were really duped by him. He will never get another vote from me-he goes down as a total traitor/political sleaze in my book.:!:
Dr.Parker salary Too funny.He makes over $800 a day and cant even take time to return a phone call of an upset parent.How sorry is that?I know I'll be rallying for his removal when time comes.Cant say I didnt give him ample time either.Its been a week!:shock:
Who are these 2 people everyone keeps saying are the "good guys" on the board.I know which ones are the ones that need to go but it seems like its the good ol boy mentality around here.Its not the truth that matters its who you know.
Generally speaking, Donna White and Larry Strickland are the only two that question Dr. Parker and vote against him. I am not saying every issue that comes up should be voted against but the others just seem to blindly do whatever he wants. NO ONE needs to be given that much power. There is always room for discussion, healthy debate, questions, etc.
