i need a program on another machine

i have a program on my machine ( desktop ) and i need it on my laptop. how can i go about doing this? i cannot find my cd. suggestions?

 

Well, depending on the program, it may be a simple matter of transferring a file or three, or it may be impossible without the disk.

 

Good point. And it doesn't even have to be a receipt. Simply having registered the product can get you a duplicate for free or reduced price.

What is the software title??? You may be able to borrow the CD from someone. If it requires a "key", that number is on the PC using the software now. Lots of free downloads that will give you the key #.

Just be for-warned, multiple use typically requires multiple licenses.
