I have an old Gateway Computer that I would like to get rid of, but before I do, I want to unload everything that might be in it, for security purposes. Can someone enlighten me on how to do this? Thanks !

If it's an old computer, chances are the new owner would want to invest in a new hard drive anyway. (Well, they SHOULD, anyway). I recommend removing the HD and taking it out for shooting practice.

The new owner can't recover your data from a drive that's not there!
