You delivered your opinion, which is just as valid as mine, but not more so.

Yes it is. It was well thought out and typed while wearing a brace on my right arm.

I even used a spell checker on it.

Oh, the brace on the right arm is a pita, especially when you have to work at a keyboard all day. Hope it gets better soon.

Actually it comes off today at 4:20.

I had Carpal Tunnel surgery on my right wrist on the 5th. I've been wearing this thing for two weeks now and it's about to drive me crazy.

Here's hoping the surgery was 100% successful, seriously.

Oh, I know you're serious. In spite of philosophical disagreements, I do have a bit of respect for you.

There's still a little bit of feeling loss in my finger tips that was there before (sort of like having glue on the tips), but I just noticed this morning that it seems to be less.

Next up will be the left hand.

Same on my end. Would you please let us know if you are getting surgery in the future? Some really do care.

I think the joker had more to do with the time that you were having the brace removed then your pain.

Yes, that's why I added the word "seriously" to my good wishes. I just couldn't resist the joker, though, when he said he was having the brace removed at 4:20.

Worst President - FDR for beginning the entitlement society we know today. For getting the Fed Govt into things it was never meant to do.

Most disapointing - George W Bush for not protecting the borders, and for uncontrolled spending.

Best - Reagan for bringing pride back to a country that needed it. For bringing about an economic policy that lead to the unprecidented growth of the 80's and 90's.

My personal situation has gotten better every single year since I left college in 1986, regardless of who was in office. I am happy with my life and enjoy every day.

Accidently posted this in the other Pres thread.

That completely went over my head.

Brace extraction went well... Sort of... They did take it off, remove the ace bandage and pulled the stitches. Then he said he'd like to see me wear it for another week. I lied and said "sure". I'll wear it when I sleep, for a week.

It shouldnt take a genius to figure that one out. For you to lay claim that carter is better is total hogwash, only a deep liberal would think that. I take it you were in military, well that makes it so much worse if you asked veterans who served during Carter years 90 percent would say he was a complete moron. He destroyed what military we had and gave that money he cut on us military to give to the welfare recipients who were baby producers because they would get so much more money. Look back at history, our country was broken under Carter the intrest rates were the highest in his years, no comparision. Reagan clearly had a major mess to clear up coming into office. Carter was pathetic, should've stayed farming peanuts. To this day he still shows his true colors with those he associates himself with and comments he has made. If Reagan was still alive he would have told Jimmy Carter to keep quite on several occassions thru-out the last few years.

First of all, Carter was not a liberal, he was a moderate. And how many Americans were killed by hostile forces under Ronald Reagan with no retaliation what so ever? And how many Americans were killed by hostile forces under Jimmy Carter? What was the unemployment rate when Carter left office, and what was it two years later? What was the national debt when Reagan took office and what was it when he left office? What president put more people on the welfare rolls than any other president in the history of the welfare system? What president had the biggest tax increase in American history? What president had the highest unemployment rate since Herbert Hoover?

Considering Jimmy never fought for anything that wouldnt surprise me that our American Forces deaths were smaller in his term. unemployment rate, a president will fortunately or unfortunately inherit a government based on previous administration along with the policy's they put in place. Change will not and does not happen over night and or quickly. Check your welfare #. I would also say when you receive a military that had been gouged back and behind the times, that doesnt come cheaply our military was built back to where it needed to be and it wasn't cheap.

I am awaiting the post that "Our Numbers are always bad because of the Democrats!).

I know, everything bad is the Democrats' fault, and everything good was brought to us by Reagan, Bush & Bush. ;)

I think Kinsley addressed that by crunching the numbers 3 different ways, to answer those objections. But some people prefer to stick with their preconceived ideas, and won't be moved by such mundane things as facts.
