I think you should let the police handle the issue of the cats. They can figure out if he took them or not. You can still be looking for them and enlisting help of others to look also. Good luck, and I hope you find your beloveds.
Be careful. Better have proof if you go public or his lawyer will have a hayday with you. Just saying. I sure hope you get your babies back. And IF you husband DID do something to them, I hope you have a bulldog for a lawyer for you. That is really low and twisted.
Maybe she left the freaking door open. Man. You ladies are so quick to jump on a guy! You can already tell she's bitter. Everything that happens is his fault. Dern. I need some some some Alka Seltzer or sumpin.
Hey now! I left my pitchfork in the closet on this one. All I said was that I hoped her cats were safe and that her situation improves. Now, if he did hurt the cats, all bets are off! 8)
Yes, be careful. Here's contact information for the local battered women's shelter, just in case you need it: Harbor, Inc. P.O. Box 1903 Smithfield NC 27577 Business #: 919-943-0233 Hotline/Crisis: 919-934-6161 Not saying you do need it, but don't hesitate to contact them if you do.
One thing I don't understand about this poster is why she HAS to stay in the house? Am I missing something here? She needs some girl power!
NOBODY would force me to stay anywhere I didn't want to stay! :boxing::boxing: So do I KD's Gma. So do I. I've already sent her a PM, maybe everyone else can send her some girl power also? :grouphug:
I was confused as well. Why she has to stay inside, and is her husband a cop? On another note, I do hope the kitties are ok, and hope she fills us in when she gets the answers...
I didn't read that to mean she has to stay inside, just that she can't move out of the house. I don't understand why, either, but if your reading is right, that's even worse. I would hope she would at least have a close friend or family member who could take her in, if her only other choice is to stay with him. If he has done something to the cats, that should raise everyone's concern for her own safety.
Thank you all so much for your help! The cats are still missing, and no, I havent left the door open, and even if, they have never been missing a single night, not even one of them.. and, yes, he told somebody just one day before he will get rid of the cats! my neighbor wittnessed him chasing the cats out of the house on saturday, right before the thunderstorm started and I wasnt home. one run even into the grill... so scared they where from him. The sheriff told me it could be even a fellony. and i cant leave the house yet, because we havent even signed a seperation agreement, its between the lawyers now, well my lawyer did nothing... If i leave the house ( and where would I go?) he can get me for abandoning him. I still hope the cats will find their way home, if he hasnt killed them or abducted them far away in the woods. he cut me of the tv, internet, home phone... he will remove the computer as well he said, ect.. dont want to mention everything here.. I called this lawyer, and thanks so much for this help! I will go to see her soon... pls keep an eye out there for my cats.. i am with them for a long time... 9 plus 13 years... thanks for offering me a place to stay.. its amazing how you people out there want to help! thanks so much...
