OK, I sell Avon, and it was only a 10.00 investment to get into. I really enjjoy selling it and love the products. I also like the fact I make enough money to help with bills and extras. Also I love stayign at home with my little boy. So what I am getting at is Has or does anyone actually do a WORK AT HOME JOB that isn't a scam or a BIG investment to get into? Becuase I would be interested in maybe another at home job along with Avon. That way all the money I make off of Avon can be saved up and I could have the other job as income or the other way around enthier one. One a side not, if you are looking for a work at home job with a low investment, contact me about Avon. And if you have any other work at home, cotact me about that. LOL.
I wish I did, I'd be doing it! I honestly don't know of anything. I looked into the medical billing stuff years ago, but everything cost a lot to get started, and I didn't trust that.
I would love to do legal work from home. I knew a co-worker who did that at our lawfirm when I was working in VA. Hard to find that around here.
The only jobs I know of, are where people worked full time for a company at some computer-based job, and then were allowed to work the same job from home. Depending on the type of job, these people may have no expectation of, nor any opportunity for advancement - that takes schmoozing at the company location. But it's great if you have children, or dislike the time and expense of a long commute.
AJ-Avon - If you're looking for more replies, you might want to post it in the regular forum (discussion group), I think more people read that.
Me too, I have done Avon (twice) and I have done partylite as well. I liked partylite better, but I didn't have the time with a full time job to keep it going. Avon well I got tired of backorders and then people not paying for their stuff. My bestfriend does wonderful with Partylite, and Mary Kay and she started something else as well..but she doesn't have a regular job, so she has the time to put into a business like that. If you find something good let me know. Sheri
I just started selling Avon a few weeks ago and I'm amazed at how well it sells itself. I haven't placed my first order yet, I hope backorders won't be a problem.
They were always a problem for me, and sending the wrong stuff was a problem as well. I still have stuff here. You can return stuff if people don't pay, but that can be a hassle as well cause you can only do so much before they freeze your account because of to many returns. I have never had that happend, but have heard of it. It does sell itself, but when it dought please get payment before hand. I had big problem with people not paying after it came in. I found it harder for me, cause I work amost 50 hours a week and soon more then that for the next 6 weeks. I think if your a stay at home mom then it will work better for you. Now, for a while it worked well the first time around then the regulars stopped ordering then you got to find ways to get more customers, and that is where the work comes in. There are way to many people around here that sell it. I tell you a good place for me was Mcdee's up here on 210, them girls loved it up there. hehe.. I would go through the drive through and hand out a book and that was all it took..I was careful not to get the managers upset, but they were the ones that wanted it. Try it out and see what happends. Sheri
Michelle- I have been saleing for a while, and SO FAR i havnt had alot of backorders "knock on wood". But other than that I really enjoy it. As for other jobs work at home jobs I guess its pointless LOL cause they all seem to good to be true LOL
Girl, i am gonna find the time this weekend to sit down and go through the catalogues and will give ya a call with my order, sorry it has taken so long.
No problem! I will be sending in my next order tonight and then the next one will go in on the 29th. Take your time!
Same here Michelle. I've glanced through them but haven't had time to really look at everything. Hopefully while I'm on vacation next week I can take the time to go through them all. I'll let you know! Brenda
