I know I can return my empty take to Lowe's and get another one, but is there any place in the area I can get someone to just fill the tank I have? Are there any pros/cons to doing this? Which is better, cheaper?

    Thanks.

You can have it refilled at BJ's at White Oak in Garner.

Also at the gas station on 42 that is in front of Food Lion and beside of KFC. I think it's a Texaco? Or maybe it used to be a Texaco?

Used to be Texaco, now it's a Shell station.

Also, DR Wells store can refill it for you.

In my experience, it's usually a little bit cheaper to get your tank refilled than to do the exchange, sometimes ALOT cheaper.

Thanks for the ideas. I'm really not sure how much is in the tank actually. There isn't a gauge on it. I don't use it a whole lot.. I love grilled food, just not a fan of the heat on my face.

I will take it this week to get it filled. I'll be using it in about 2 weeks for a few days when family comes to visit. I hadn't thought of DR Wells, As much as I've heard of that place, I've only been there once.

Wherever you go, make sure the attendant dispensing the propane is at least 18 years of age.

I take mine to Hudson's Ace hardware or TR Lee's. I live downtown so they're close.

I take mine to BJ's, we get it filled at the member price, $14.99 right now. I think the non-member price is $18.49.

Be aware that re-fill stations are required to check (many don't) to make sure your tank is not out of date.
