My sister says this about our house every time she's here. I say bring your blankies! It feels great.
Finally! After all day with no a/c we have it now! It got over 90 degrees in the house! I had some miserable kids and dogs!
same boat right here! misery has set in for everyone in the house! i am on the back porch, has to be 120 in the house! AC dude had to leave and get a $250 part and come back tomorrow!
Ooh LC! I'm sending cool breeze wishes your way.... I know it sucked when I got home from FL with my mother 2 years ago on Memorial Day and the first thing DH told me when we pulled in was that the AC was out... I almost died. Thank god for Chuck's!!
My A/C units stay set between 65-67 year round with ceiling fans running on medium:lol: Yeah, the power bill is astronomical this time of year, but I save come October-April. Everyone brings coats to my house or when they ride in the car with me.
I called a friend that does alot of handy man work. He came over looked at the unit and then crawled under the house. Found that something or another (don't know what he called it) needed to be cleaned out and viola! we had air again. No service fee! Thank goodness! Today I feel truly blessed with the friends I do have!
Thanks chic! Hopfully that wonderfully fabulous great and fantastic AC man will be there 1st thing this morning. Told DH.....YOU stay home and wait for him, I am going to work where there is ac!
I JUST got done doing this. Perhaps I will take an exacto knife and carve intricate designs into it. Keep it up all year round. When I was a kid, we lived in the Phoenix area for a few years. My friend and I always made fun of one his neighbors for the foil on the windows.
You... ROCK THE CASHBAH! They're doing it sometime this week. :hurray: Which means we'll be painting this weekend...
