I've never been, thinking about taking the little ones. How much do the bouncy things and games (if any) cost, is it like the strawberry festival, they seemed to be pricey...? And I'm assuming there will be food there? Can we bring food/drinks/coolers? And stupid question, is this on Friday I'm assuming?

One more thing...the walk on ballgame, I'm assuming this is baseball, for grown ups? Anyone know anything about this? Is it usually pretty popular?

I think it is softball. Not sure about the ages.

I know Elizabeth Church is going to have a bouncy, free for children. Probably others will have free stuff, too. They are also going to be selling cotton candy and drinks. I've never been to the 4th of July at Cleveland before, either, I'm looking forward to it.

The last couple of years that I have gone the WJHS Band sells hot dogs/hamburgers/fries...etc. I seem to remember a snow cone thing too. One year they had pony rides. I am not sure about the cost if any for the bouncy things...my brats are teenagers.

Thanks for your patronage! And they will be there again this year. They also sell ham/sausage bicuits (for the morning) and fried apple jacks - for as long as they have them, they always get gone fast! and drinks/water. :)

You're welcome. Was it WJHS band last year that was walking around during the parade selling cookies/brownies/etc along with soda and water? If so, the cookies were really good!!

Also, I think it was 2 years ago that 4042.com gave away bags and I think it was last year someone (can't remember who) gave away flip flops. Cleveland VFD was out there last year with a camper. I think it was for people to learn how to get out of a "house" that is on fire and they did a drawing too.

It was great seeing you as well. Hmmm...no other 4042ers anywhere last night?? Thanks...the band did do a good job, in my opinion in spite of having to quickly break down when the shower came and set back up (not to mention losing the sound on one side of teh stage of a few secs). The sound guy did a great job of getting it up and running fast!

I did enjoy seeing Jenn and her family earlier...your little one has gotten so big!!! Where does the time go!!!

We went to the one in Clayton with the in-laws. It was not as good as last year. They had some minor complications with the fireworks.
