Any excellent "personal" recommendations for someone to powerwash my house? We are having new windows installed and it has made the house look filthy!! The last person we had to come out was not careful with the hoses and broke bushes etc. We are in the Cleveland area. We also have a 2 story house. Some of the ads I have seen say one story only.

    Thanks,
    Amy

I saw an ad this morning for someone that uses hot water when they power wash. Does it really make a difference if you use hot or cold?

The reason for using hot water is so you don't have to use any (or as many) chemicals or detergents ...and you can avoid damaging the finish on your exterior lights or killing your flowers & shrubs.

Well those are good enough reasons for me. I had never really thought about that.

We were happy with Ed Leigh also. He uses something friendly to the bushes (can't remember what) that won't hurt them. That was a major concern to me.

And yeah, we have a power washer and have done it ourselves. But man it's a big job!

This one. And don't use bleach! You might use dtgt the first time, but if you keep up with it, you shouldn't have to use them in the future. I thought that was the purpose of pressure washing? The pressure of the water does the work? Anyways, it is worth the investment.
