Independence Day celebration in Cleveland?

I think I saw you but wasn't sure. I did see your DH up on the stage.

 

Sorry girl, we had every intention of coming out but with so many folks at our house and the grill going and kids in the pool, everyone decided it would just be too much trouble to pull them out, get dressed and head up the road. Instead we all just hung around, had margaritas, food and an awesome firework show of our own. i am sorry, i really did want to see ya again - sometimes i wish i could be two people so i could get done everything i want to do:lol:

 

I was there during the day, and intended to come back in the evening, but I was just wiped out when I got home that afternoon, so I decided not to go back after all. If I had realized at mid-day that I wouldn't be back later, I would have made it a point to look you up then. I was right across the parking lot from the stage! Sorry I missed you. I did enjoy the music.

Thanks to Jen for stopping by to say hello, Little Bit has gotten so big, and the big sister is growing up fast, too, such an attractive young lady she is! Good to see Devilock & meet the better half & the boys.

I was there ......... but haven't met you in person yet so I didn't know what you looked like . I stared at the stage area for a little bit seeing if I could find any "4042 behavior." :lol::lol::lol::lol::mrgreen:

 

I got there about 8pm. Two of my young ones were with me.

 

Truth is, I tried! Really! I just wanted to go out and register voters, but there's no money for "unaffiliated" to pay for a booth. I did register some unaffiliated voters, does that help? And even some R's, can you believe it?

 

Tangy and I thought maybe Capt stood in your way! We were jealous!

 

Talked to your youngin' Friday night...she's so grown!

 

I walked by the church booth a couple of times to see if I could see ya but guess I just overlooked ya! I always enjoy conversing!!

 

LOL I should have worn a nametag! I was the one running aroung like crazy! Would have loved to meet ya!

 

My 4-year-old nephew danced both shows. He slept GOOD that night! I LOVED watching the moms and little ones dance! That was the best part!

 

Well then you guys should have come by the house when you were done:lol:

 

Yep, there was quite a firewords show from Kaci's backyard. Sorry I couldn't make it. We had chairs and swim shorts on ready to go, but when I saw the reaction from the 2 year old oh boy. I'm telling you he was horrified. He would not let go of me even for his favorite movie, chocolate milk and a cookie!!!! Hope you guys had tons of fun!!!

Again, sorry I couldn't make it. BTW, how's the mater plants coming along? I have a ton of them if you need a couple to hold you over :jester:

 

Cool:hurray: i think i will probably loose half the plants, they are struggling but the other half seem to be coming back to life. i have inspected every day and have not found any more of those nasty creatures but they did their damage:twisted:

 

Sorry, just got back from vacation the day before and the dog would not have tolerated me leaving again! :mrgreen:
