Well, when purhcased it was done through the dealership. I know they tack on a few points. My second goal in this is to remove one of the borrowers from the loan. Has anybody ever worked with rategenuis, or is that scammy?

I refinanced through my bank, when I wanted to get rid of the dealership financing...they made it so easy. State Employees Credit Union.....

I would also suggest a bank that you have a relationship with, like with your checking account, etc...

I suggest SECU too. They have pretty good rates.

I don't belong to a credit union, but I could do the bank. I just heard you could get good deals online, and I would not have to bring my entourage with me.

We have used both E-Loan, and Capital One Auto online to finance auto loans. Everything done via net or phone/fax. Easy peasy.

Oooh, no kidding. I have State Farm. I'll give them a call, too. But yeah, E-Loan was one that I had heard of before too.

Yes, State Farm has their own bank. Who is your agent? We have Janet Leath in Garner. But anyway, they can do auto financing and all that kinds of stuff if you have insurance with them.

Some guy in Garner, I can't think of his name off the top of my head.

    Hey, was tomorrow the deadline?

Tomorrow is the deadline, but kookoo is mailing me hers, so should have it Sat. I am going to tell the girl that I have a couple more coming, so.... You can either mail it to me or we can work something else out.

try dcu.com. If you qualitfy to join the bank, they have the best rates IMO.

example: just bought a motorcycle less than 6 weeks ago. My bank (Wachovia) wanted 12.99% (not the best credit + motorcycles are considered leisure vehicles and not necessities).

Anyway, DCU gave me a rate of 6.14%. had the check the very next day!
