I have dabbled in the coupon clipping world in the past but never got fully into it like I wanted. I want to learn it from the ground up. :jester: I KNOW you ladies are the queens so tell me how to get started...I'd like a site where I can buy the cute little binders...I mean, might as well do this right, huh? :hurray: Thanks for any advice.
This is the Queen of the Coupons Make sure you check her website out. http://www.4042.com/4042forums/member.php?u=7519
Here are a couple of sites that helped me out. http://www.cutouthunger.com/ http://www.hotcouponworld.com/forums/index.php Hope those help.
http://www.smartspendingresources.com/ best place to start!!! Read her book (she is a local lady and is on 40/42!!) and you will have many AH-Ha moments. She has really made a difference in my life. (thanks Faye) You can get the binder from her, or make it on your own.... Good luck, we have seen a HUGE differnce in our budget over the past 2 years.
Exactly! Faye is an amazing resource and has been a true blessing in my life. Not sure what I would have done the past couple years without her insight. :hurray::hurray::hurray:
The Faye they are discussing is the User in the first link. I am a Male and even learned something from her.
Thanks for the very nice feedback, ladies and gent. You are fabulous! Glad to know even a man can keep up with my highly evolved powers of coupon insanity! LOL ;-) I have actually been quite impressed with the number of guys who coupon very successfully, including Dan, who runs the www.savvydollar.org site. the2popes - feel free to send me an e-mail if you have any questions: saving@smartspendingresources.com. There are a number of articles posted on my site as well as many links to other couponing and money saving resources. I also like the money saving/couponing blog on the N & O by Sue Stock: http://projects.newsobserver.com/taking_stock There are amazing couponing opportunities here in the Triangle. You will love couponing! Like Mimi2, I also recommend www.hotcouponworld.com for an excellent national good deals site. Those folks find TONS of great deals and post them for everyone - free of charge. Savvy Dollar is an excellent site for both national and local NC deals. It's very active and the members are wonderful. I am teaching a couponing workshop on August 16 for Clayton Parks and Rec. All the proceeds from the class fees (after Parks and Rec takes their cut) go to the Duke Cancer Center for Ovarian Cancer Research. I don't think webbie will mind me posting this since it's a fundraiser for a great cause. I'll be donating the proceeds at the Ovarian Cancer Walk in September. Come, bring friends, bring random people you meet in the grocery store! The registration info is on this page: http://www.smartspendingresources.com/workshops.html Happy shopping! Faye
