Thanks so much for Posting this. My mother still leaves the door open, with someone standing at the door, while she goes to get her checkbook (like for the Fire Officers, etc.). I keep telling her something bad could happen or that the person she is giving the check to may not be who she thinks they are. Came home one day and we had a new freezer, fully stocked, in the garage. Seems someone had called my mother and she gave approval over the telephone. They prey on people with Alzheimer's and cancer. I have been to meetings where they told family members that some of these people actually get lists of names of these people. Shame on them! Sherry
This is such a terrible thing to happen to anyone, especially our elderly neighbors. They prey on the weak and frail cause they are too lazy and sorry to do anything productive with their lives. The thieves need to get a hair cut and get real job.
This just infuriates me. It takes a real low life scum bag and coward to prey on the elderly. :banghead: :banghead: :boxing:
