Best website for downloading free music?

    I want to download some free music onto my computer. Which site is the best as far as being virus safe and so forth?

    Michelle, I am pretty cautious, for legal and virus reasons, as to what I put on my iPod but I usually download the free tunes that Apple offers every Tuesday.

    Go to the i-Tunes store and at the home page choose the Music store. You will see a column on the left hand side of the screen with the free downloads.

    They offer between 3 and 4 songs a week and leave them up for download all week.

    Also, if you drink Pepsi products, or have access to the caps and carton tabs you can download the good stuff for free from Amazon. Five soda caps = Free download

    i dont' know about music but a good place for movies is www.quicksilverscreen.com most can be viewed on the pc but the ones that say Divx or google you can down load those type.
