Yep! The acorns and fruit trees tell me its going to be a harsh winter. God takes care of the animals! According to all the acorns ......the squirells are set for a few winters.

Snow! Snow! I too think its going to be a real winter this year. I've lived in NC all of my life and remember when it used to snow once in a while. We still have the old wooden sled with runners (ever hopeful). I remember a few ice storms too - don't like those. Kids would sure love to be able to build a snowman again, its been so long. We've had several really easy winters and its time for a harsh one. Might kill off some of those pesky summer bugs and those "Wood Roaches" too, lol.
Heard on WRAL this morning, the little pixie that does the weather is saying there might be some flurries tomorrow. Always hoping for a white Christmas!
HOLY CRAP! I Just got back from Costa Rica, where it was 95 every day, and I look on WRAL to see what news I missed, and it says high of 44 and snow tomorrow??? I think I'm packing up and heading back to Costa Rica!!
Just got the propane tank filled for the fireplace, cranked it up and now the GF is a nice and toasty 77 degrees. Meanwhile, im sweating bullets but as long as she is happy... Bah
I wanna go too!!! I hate the cold ... yuck I guess a little snow ... lasting just 1 day ... might be fun. I hate it when the poser gets knoced out & the snow stays for days and gets all yucky & dirty looking. I'm just not ready for the cold yet.
