I downloaded an update to something or other, and it put a Yahoo toolbar on my computer. If there is one thing I do not need, it's another toolbar! So how can I make it go away?

go to your control panel... (start menu, settings) and click on 'control panel' when it opens, click on 'add or remove programs". they are in alphabetical order, find the yahoo evilness and click on it, then click remove.

Found it! It's in the Firefox tools>add-ons>extensions menu.

Thanks, but I found it myself. I though about sending Nev an IM, but he's got enough on his plate without holding Grandma's hand. I need to get over to the other side & just say hey to them, anyway! :)
