DH and I were in Smithfield yesterday at the outlets at Carolina Pottery and there were some serious sales going on. Most of the stores have stuff discounted up to 70%. It appeared that many of the stores are going out of business.

On the other hand, I went in Linen's and Things Saturday night and that place was a joke. Stuff is 50 to 80% off but they have marked everything up so high to begin with that the discount doesn't help. Not much left either.

 

Why do people shop there if this is the case. The Liquidator must be real good at what they do.

 

I agree. It was really a joke to see the prices. I picked up a package of regular old everyday curtains and they were marked $49.99!
