I don't know if I got that right up there in the Title, but I looked on WRAL and didn't see anything. Me and my Neice and daughter were coming back from a church function in Cary (this was Saturday night around 7:30pm) and on the west side of 40 we saw at least 8 or more cop cars and several firetrucks, but didn't see any cars wrecked from what we could see. We did see crime tape all around the side of the road, and it was right by a bridge. Also some big bright lights I guess for them to see. Was just wondering if anyone knew what all that was about? May God Bless this poor person and thier family. It is so sad to hear of a young life being lost so abruptly, but it's even harder when the person who has died did so at thier own hands. So very,very sad:cry::cry::cry:
OMG, that is just what me and my neice thought it was! I was so praying that wasn't what it was. How sad :cry: I just saw the short story in the news and obersever and you know a car hit him as well after he jumped, must pray for the person who most likely is tramatized (sp) after hitting the boy. I could be wrong, but can there be another person attempting right now? Right now (2:00pm) all lanes are blocked at I-440 / US64 and New Bern Avenue. They are saying "police activity" or accident on the bridge over 440. But if you look at the traffic cam on either WRAL or NBC17's website (US 64 and Trawick cam), it appears to be someone sitting on the edge of the bridge looking down onto I-440. I hope I'm wrong.
