Anybody here use the reunion website classmates? Just curious. That site facilitated the reconnection between C6 and me.

When it first came out, I tried it, but then it seemed like you had to pay for anything I wanted to do, so I never went back. An old friend did find me through it, she must have paid to become a member and found my email address through it, but we have since lost touch again. I hate to say this, but it's no real loss, I wasn't really close to anyone in school except for one girl, so there isn't really anyone I care to keep in contact with. I know, that's sad, but I hated school, and most of the people I went with.

That's cool about you and C6 though!

I tried it a number of years ago and like DMJ said you had to pay something to upgrade. I never did it as it really wasn't that important to me at the time.

Seems like now though I found half my graduating class on facebook now though..

Facebook is a much better tool, and it's free!

After 2 years of being a subscriber I let it run out last month. I have found more classmates on Facebook in one month for free.

I never liked it - seemed you have to pay for everything; most of the high schools now have alumni listings (which are free). Love facebook, too.

Same here....Classmates and Reunion.com....but like what everyone said, you have to pay for the Premium services which allows one to send messages and things like that. Could not tell you the last time I was on there.

Well, there are teachers.....and then there are teachers. LOL But as we are just two years apart.....well, I'll be a gentleman and stop here...

We had a blast on the cruise. DD's first cruise, and she is hooked. She made a few galpals at Camp Carnival..and we had a neat community going on. Sadly, one of the sons of a family we met and interacted with was murdered a week after we returned. He was into karaoke, and as DD wanted to sing, but was kinda shy, he had the few members of the audience to some sing backup for her, which then meant she didn't have to worry about what the audience was thinking. Such a gracious gesture from a young man who touched so many lives before he was taken.

We've got our eyes on a a cruise to Alaska, either a 7 or 14 day one. We'd really like to see Alaska before it's too late to enjoy.

    Hat,

Sad about the young man. I am sure his gesture will live forever in your wonderful daughter's heart.

Classmates is a service that wants you to pay to join, then after you join, you get access to other members profiles, e mail addresses, but then they send you another "bill" to re up your membership. I really dont think it is worth paying twice. I now get e amils from them every day wanting me to come back. No dice, not happening.

H6 if you have the time, do the Princess cruise where your first week is traveling to Fairbanks, Denali, and Prudhoe Bay (You can take a short dip in the Arctic Ocean!). Then have the second week on the ship. The first week is a lot of go-go-go because you have to get to the destination, spend a day there sightseeing/taking side trips, and then move on so do that before your ultimate pampering onboard ship!

We just did this July 08, and had a blast. The people we met on Holland American and Celebrity were doing the same thing, but Princess requires every hotel room to have a bathroom...that made the small rooms better. We stayed where the oil field workers stay, but with a four-star chef. Holland America's passengers had to go to a separate building to shower in a locker room style shower house!

    Bummer on that family's loss.

Glad you had a good time on the cruise. I'm going next month to the Bahamas on a 5 day one. Taking DD and her new husband on belated honeymoon, will be his and my GF first cruise.

Looking at a 14 day one going to Hawaii in November.
