**There are several more HT brand sale items but nothing special.
This should help to start the coupon/deals matchups

I've never shopped at HT but those SALE prices seem very, very high to me.

    How do super doubles work?

I have not really caught on to this like I have to triples. But they will double all coupons up to $1.98. So you would think since with $1.50 coupons you would save $3.00 there has to be some good deals, but I havent found much.

I have a 25 minute drive each way and only being able to use 20 coupons a day, really makes me wonder if it is worth it. (since I am spending $5 or so in gas to start with) If a HT was in Clayton that would be a different story.

Hopefully some folks will figure out the great deals for us, but I am only finding 2-3 things that stand out.

    (Stolen from another board)

    : Here is a few:

    Mayfield Ice Cream -- $1.99 ea -- w/$1.00 q = FREE

    Kraft Singles -- $3.32/2 -- w/$1/2 q = $1.32/2 (.66 a pc.)

    Pop-Secret Popcorn -- $2.99 ?? -- w/$1/2 q = .99/2

    Wet Ones -- $1.99 -- w/.75 q = .49 ea.

I agree, ljk. The closest one for me is Fuquay and that's just too far to drive to save a few dollars. I think they jack up the prices so that they aren't losing that much money on us couponers. I'll stick to using my q's at Lowe's Foods for sale items and Wally World for other items.

I've found some good deals at Walgreens and CVS in the past few weeks too.

We are on the Fuquay side of 4042. There is also a HT at 1010 and 401. During the last super double, I spent $35 and saved $75.

I guess I am spoiled by triples and hopefully will 'get my groove' with doubles, but I used to save 80% with triples so I have high expectations!
