It does sound like a good time was had by all. Did you happen to do the hike? DH ran that one. He was pleasantly suprised by the number of particpants. We are a little sad that this was DS's last camping trip as a cub scout, he crosses over in Feb.
What Hike? & When? We missed that. We were at Camp T. I know another group that were at a 'real' camp ground near the beach.
It was Camp T. It was a hike DH organized for kids/parents who wanted to do something other than archery and BB guns, he did one in the morning and one in the afternoon as something for his Woodbadge. I wasn't there, so I'm not sure how the word got out. It was pretty well received, so hopefully they will pick it up as an activity from here on out. 8)
My husband is the Webelos leader for our den and we had several boys that went on the hike and enjoyed it very much. Thanks to your husband for a great idea. Go SR-958!!! Karen (Fox)
