What was your first car?

    The gas thread got me thinking. Mine was a brown '76 Plymouth Arrow. I loved that car.

    a 1971 Dodge pick-up like the one above. Except mine was 2 tone blue and the engine had been replaced with a 440-6 pack instead of the stock 383 that it came with.

    my first car was a tractor - a 1953 Ford Jubilee 50th anniversary model.

    I was such a stud back then....

    HA couldn't afford the real thing huh?

    first car....red AMC gremlin 1972?
    second car...yellow AMC gremlin 1972?
    third...white dodge omni...
    forth...white AMC Concord wagon...if this thing coughed i could diagnose it. lol

    I lost count after that...
    Buick something
    1980 pontiac in 1997
    1978 woody wagon
    dodge dynasty
    ford taurus
    mercury sable
    a few others too but I forgot them

    saturn L200 - it lives on through my son!
    and my pretty baby Kia Amante...awwww... hubby bought it for me!! awwwwwwwwwwww

    My Grandmother let me borrow her all original, nearly mint 1965 Thunderbird, like the one in Thelma and Louise for 6 months after I got my license. It wasn't a convertible, but man, that thing was FAST. A 390 four barrel if memory serves. I loved that car!! Ruined me for life for having to drive anything without serious horsepower. The only thing that has ever come close was the 97 Taurus SHO that we had and now the Dodge truck with the Hemi. The SHO was fast, but didn't have that down low torque. The Hemi................well, it'll put a smile on your face for sure. 8)

    1969 Green Dodge Dart with a 1/2 vinyl top.

    my Daddy gave me his '67 convertible Camaro to drive my junior and senior year of high school and yes i had to pay the insurance and all maintenance but that car still has my heart. i was working part time in high school from 10th grade on and he basically did it to **** off his second wife but i loved it :cheers:

    We had one of those when I was a senior in HS, LOL!!! It was **** brown, ran decent though. Til I wrecked it anyway. :oops:

    My mom had one also. Had it till the engine blew up on my Brother while driving it on I-280 in West Orange NJ. Defiinitly a POS

    By the time I got around to buying one (1979), the Gremlin was no longer made!

    Mine was a little darker brown, my friends used to call it the "Little Field Dropping"
