I have it on the desktop, I need it on the laptop. The desktop came with it programmed, I did not get a disk. The laptop did not have it. Is there a way to find out the registration code on my desktop so that I can use it on the laptop? Or has anyone got a real cheap copy with a code they'd sell me? LOL
Hmm, do any of my friends here have a corporate version that they'd like to share? LOL I'll be glad to go on payroll shortly to justify it!
Mine came with the computer, send my *friend* Mike a message on FB, he can probably help you, he rebuilds computers.
Be smart! Piracy only leaves you guilty. Borrow the CD from someone and buy a legal Key for $20. Office 2007 Key $20
Questions... Why isn't THAT piracy? Second, I thought I could use the same key for two computers. I have it on my desktop, but want it on my laptop too. I downloaded the trial version on the laptop, but need the key off the desktop, so my real question is how do I find out the key from the desktop?
Technically according to Microsoft's licensing agreement, for you to use the existing copy on your laptop you would have to uninstall the software on the desktop.
Sorry for the delay in answering. The keys being sold on Ebay are watched by MS. Some are selling technet keys and that is illegal. The long term ebay sellers are offering legit keys. If you bought the student version it can be used on 3 separate computers. All you need is a child of school age to qualify. BUT, it stipulates it can't be used for business purposes. Student Version is $79 at Comp USA. Student version is no different than the full version. PS: A Technet Subscription is the way to go and most people don't know about it. Google it and read-up for the good deals!!
