Okay, I'll ask the question. Does anyone know how they are going to work the buses for WJHS? Meaning, if you are districted for Cleveland but stuck at WJHS, are the buses still doing a route? I've left message w/ WJHS last week and no one returned my call so wondering if any of you know. This is NOT a choice we have. My daughter has to go there. Was told last year buses will be provided but have not heard a word. I'm working, husband is gone to work by then, and I'm getting other kids ready to go to school. It is impossible for us to take & pick her up. Told this would not be an issue but being that I have not heard a word, I'm a bit worried about it. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. She'll be at Cleveland next year. My son is starting Cleveland high school this year. Two different high schools. Thanks . Stephanie--mom to 7
I know the bus drivers had their back to school meeting today and got bus routes, so maybe one of those folks will know now how that's going to work and can help you out!
i don't think anyone has even been at the school to receive your message. haha must be nice to ignore your job like that for 3 months
I wish. They've been at the school. I know that b/c I've spoken w/ the people at central office & they told me to try to call the school and leave a message w/ a different person. Umm, okay. Communication would help in so many areas. LOL. I'll try again tomorrow. However, just saw the bus cruise the neighborhood so maybe they are sending one. Who knows. If your child has been reassigned to West due to lack of certain programs at Cleveland, the school will provide transportation. Hope that helps. If you need someone to speak with at West, contact J. Vines at 934-7333 ext. 105.
I went to Cleveland last week and asked about the bus schedules, they were not ready yet but will be ready on open house night. Re-doing the busses is a given due to the new schools. Just have patience. Steph which one of the kids is going to Cleveland?
I think she is talking about the new Cleveland High School. At least, that is what I was refering to.

Frustrating b/c next year they're moving them all to Cleveland. thanks for all the answers folks. You are MUCH faster than the school. LOL. Called 3 times between last week & this week and still have yet to hear back from them. And no, this is not only a bus issue. Much deeper and central office is aware & is just telling me to speak to West. Got Erics schedule thats when I found out about the bus schedule. We are going at 6 so I can take him to Martial Arts afterwards.
