It shouldn't be this hard

    I just moved into my new house in December and got set up with internet with Time Warner. They supplied, modem, router, etc. and came out and set it up. Well I just switched to AT&T DSL to try and save some money and it's turned into a nightmare.

    I got the installation CD from AT&T, but I can't make it through the whole thing to complete the installation because my new modem/router that I bought won't let me complete the installation CD for it!!

    I've been going back and forth between these CD's and all I want is my internet back. It shouldn't be this hard!!! :banghead::banghead:

    :lol: I wouldn't need to ask for help with something hard in that case. You know that. Now do you have a solution to my COMPUTER problem?!

    No kidding. I'm going to call the guy advertising 24/7 computer help because I'm f'ed at the moment. Ugh.

    Somewhere in all that mess you got from at&t is there a toll free number? You could call them and "make" them walk you through the setup process. That is what they are paid for. I have a friend who works in a large call center they set up in Goldsboro a couple years ago.
