I am doing research on Pet Sitters in the 40/42 area. Does anyone have recommendations of who or who not to use?? I am looking for someone for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Thank you!
If you are looking for boarding at a facility you are probably way too late for Thanksgiving. I have learned that my neighbor's son loves to help us with our 3 dogs and we pay him $1/dog each day. He makes money and we don't have a 2nd mortgage at a boarding facility. Do you know of any neighbors you trust?
Wow, we pay a neighborhood kid $8 per day just to come in once a day and give the cat some dry food and the rabbit some vegetables.
We have several neighbors with pets... and we just trade petsitting services among ourselves. Occasionally a trinket might be brought back from a vacation for the sitters, but nothing is really expected, we do it because we want to and don't mind.
I know of a very responsible local young man that does Pet Sitting and Housesitting. Has several references. If interested message me and I will get you his contact information.
