Here's the sales flyer for the corner lot where Scooter's was planned. They even include the already-approved site plans, so it really does seem like they just suddenly woke up and realized "this is the wrong side of the road for a coffee shop".

So does that mean Scooters has bailed out? Their location on Hwy 70 is on a similar corner lot, and it's just awkward. Guess they figured one travesty is enough?

I doubt any of us know for sure, but it sure appears that Scooter's isn't happening. They are a chain with 900 stores, so I'm sure it's up to whoever locally wanted to own a franchise.

Maybe whoever buys the property could pick up where the last person left off and continue to invest in a Scooter's. I don't know...

It looks to be getting started. Looks like more activity, then just enough to keep permit active. here is the current website

    No.

Key vegetarian choices include French fries, hash brown sticks, garden salads (without chicken), apple slices, and various breakfast items like the biscuit with egg and cheese.

You can order a burger or sandwich with no meat patty, just cheese and vegetables, though some locations may not offer this.

Chubby Taco at Walmart has closed. I ate there a few times, I thought it was pretty good. I also have eaten at the one-off Lake Boone Trail. which is good also.

The property NEXT to the Whataburger has an inspector's box set up. There's nothing in the box yet, but I feel like that's an indication something is in the works. I can't find anything online, though.

Just east of the Cleveland Draft House on Veteran's Parkway (between that and the Firestone), there's a sign up for a car wash coming soon. Yes, that's in addition to the car wash coming 800 feet away, at the corner of Veteran's Parkway and Masonboro Dr, between the Wawa and the oil change shop.

Isn't this the same car wash who had a sign up across the street from the one that's in front of Wal mart?

I have the 15 acres listing beside the Cleveland draft house. I heard from a good source,
Chick-fil-a is going there. I know the Cleveland community has been waiting a long time for one. We will see if it happens!
