My internet connection has been going out occasionally over the past week. Now my router just has solid lights all the way across the front. I can't reset it and I can't ping it. When I unplug it and plug it back in all the lights come back on immediately without rebooting. Is that what a dead router acts like? Its an old DLink.

If its time for a new one, what is the best kind to buy? Its a home network with 2 desktops and one wireless laptop.

I have the same thing with Speedbooster and I love it.

I just sold a regular version for $20. Wish I still had it, I'd give it to you.

Even though no standard has been established, if I was replacing, I'd go with a "n" version for distance and speed.
